MENTAL SKILLS SPECIALIST
Amanda Carr has a Master of Education degree in sport and exercise psychology from Springfield College and a Bachelor of Science degree in health sciences while being a four year member of the women's basketball team. In her graduate program she worked directly with the women's basketball, women's lacrosse, and women's field hockey teams. Post grad, she has gained experience working with all three collegiate divisions and across multiple sports. She is actively pursing her CMPC and is expecting to obtain the certification early 2025. Her role is to meet the athlete where they are and help guide them where they want to go. Using a holistic theory driven approach backing her work as well as her prior athlete experience to help athletes navigate performance struggles that appear, add to their mental "tool bag", and support their overall well-being.
