Sport Psychology

Athletes need more than physical preparation, they also require the ability to manage the pressures of competition, injury recovery, and personal well-being. Our sport psychologists work with athletes to address challenges like anxiety, performance-related stress, body-image concerns, and the emotional impact of injuries. They also provide strategies for managing perfectionism, self-esteem, and the balance between sports and life outside of competition.

Sport psychologists we collaborate with:

What's the difference?

Fun Traditional Marketing VS Digital Marketing Comparison Graph.png
  1. Both mental skills specialists and mental health providers use evidence-based techniques to support individuals. Each plays a unique role in helping the individual thrive!

  2. An individual’s performance may not always reflect their mental wellness or challenges. For example, an athlete might be going through personal difficulties but performing well. In this case, they might benefit from a mental health provider. Conversely, an athlete might be doing well in their personal life but struggling with their performance, which could indicate a need for a mental skills specialist.

  3. Mental skills training and applied sport psychology focus on improving mental performance in sports. In contrast, clinical mental health professionals are licensed to diagnose and treat mental health disorders, but they may also work on enhancing mental performance in athletes, especially when mental health issues are affecting performance.
