What drew you to The Micheli Center: I love the multidisciplinary team approach! Just like our athletes are on teams, we need a team approach to their medical care.

How did you develop an interest in physician assistant studies and/or sports medicine: I was a Junior Olympic and Division 1 Collegiate gymnast and had a ton of injuries throughout my career. Those injuries lead me to be seen and evaluated by Sports Medicine Providers which is how I got interested in the field.

What are small changes people could make that would have a large impact in their overall health: As best you can “move”/exercise everyday! It can be as simple as a walk around the block or as intense as an Olympic Training session. It is up to you and your skill level! Moving can help us be more productive, live longer, and help our mental health!

What is your preferred method of exercise, either a certain activity or specific regimen: Right now I am gearing up to be on the TV show American Ninja Warrior, as well as, will be competing in World Finals for the National Ninja League later this month. I’m currently doing workouts at my ninja gym 3 days a week and then doing recovery and injury prevention 2 days a week. In the winter I also love snowboarding and in the summer I love surfing and paddle boarding!

Favorite motivational/inspirational quote: “The only risk in life is not taking one”.

Favorite ice cream sundae from the bottom up: Rainbow sprinkles, cotton candy ice cream, whip cream, and then more rainbow sprinkles.
